Presentation of the event

The 17th edition of the "GIFEC Meetings" will be held on 22 May in Marseille at the Palais du Pharo. The Gifec thus reaffirms its commitment to remain a necessary and privileged place of exchange for the profession.

This event will bring together from 5:00 pm in this prestigious setting all the distributors of products and industrial solutions as well as all the manufacturers members of GIFEC.
Well-known speakers will lead the evening on the following theme:

“What will be the impact of AI in our companies and on the future of our organizations?” 

The evening will end with a convivial and gourmet cocktail dinner.  The Palais du Pharo, which dominates the old port, is an emblematic place of the architectural heritage of Marseille. Privatized for the Gifec, we will be happy to let you discover it on this occasion.

Asma MhallaPolitical scientist and essayist, expert on the political and geopolitical issues of Tech and AI

PhD in Political Science, Associate Researcher at the EHESS/CNRS Laboratory of Political Anthropology, and professor of Politics at SciencesPo, Polytechnique, Columbia GC. 
She also advises governments and institutions in their technology public policy. In 2024, she published Technopolitique at Editions du Seuil

Mazarine Marie Mitterrand PingeotWriter, author and PhD in philosophy, teacher at Sciences Po Bordeaux

also director of the Institut François-Mitterrand. Her latest essay, “Living Without”, uses “without” (lack) as an instrument of dissection, applied to the origins and contours of our world of fullness.

Grade 4 engineering students ESILVChallenge in partnership with ESILV on 3 projects related to "A.I. in industry"

Coached for 6 months by members of the Gifec, the 3 teams of student engineers of the 4th year of the ESILV will present their projects of algotithm to the audience who will be led to vote for the project " the A.I. in the industry "

  • From the Old Port:
    -   By public transit:
    You can take bus no. 83 (direction Rond Point du Prado) or bus no. 82 and no. 82S (direction Pharo/Catalans), 4th stop "le Pharo" duration about 7 minutes
    -   Walk: (about 18 minutes), go along the sea on the left bank (south) of the port and continue straight ahead to the Palais du Pharo
     
  • From St Charles station (and bus station):
    -   By public transport: (Bus, metro and tram network – RTM www.rtm.fr):
         Under the station, get off at the metro and take the M1 line «La Rose - La Fourragère» (blue line) in the direction of La Fourragère. Get off at the stop «Vieux-Port / Hôtel de ville»
         Follow the exit «Vieux-Port» (up the escalators, go straight ahead, then after the second escalator, turn right).
         Once in the Old Port, you have the possibility to use the RTM buses.
         The bus stop «Métro Vieux Port» is 30 m in front of the metro exit):
         Then take the bus (see above: from the Old Port) 
    -   Walk: (about 30 - 45min) Go down the escalators from the station St Charles towards the "Canebière" (Historic Boulevard), then turn right on the Canebière towards the Old Port.
         Once in the port, go along the sea on the left (south) shore of the port and continue straight to the palace of the Pharo.
